Gulf Shores Steamer is local and family owned, and it’s been part of the Gulf Shores and Orange Beach communities for more than 30 years. Originally located in Gulf Shores, the restaurant relocated to Orange Beach 10 years ago, but its reputation for excellence has never changed. Known for it’s friendly staff, fresh flavors and steaming-hot seafood platters, Gulf Shores Steamer is the place to go when you’re looking for something tasty but a bit healthier.
With a motto like “NO FRIED,” it’s not a surprise that The Steamer specializes in steamed and grilled seafood. Try their delicious steamed Gulf Coast Royal Red Shrimp, or feast on Snow Crab Legs, Mussels and Oysters. Their combination platters can feed two to four people (depending on how hungry you are!), and they even offer a cheeseburger that’s been voted one of the best on the island. The restaurant’s laid-back, island-vibe atmosphere makes for a memorable meal.
